About the program
This is the inaugural programme of Israel Clinical Exchange, focused on the clinical management of cystic fibrosis. It brings together 10–15 physicians residing in Latin America who care for people with cystic fibrosis, for a week of clinical and scientific exposure alongside the Hadassah Medical Organization team. The format prioritizes direct interaction over classroom-style instruction: clinical observation at Hadassah Medical Center, case discussion, and conversation with Hadassah colleagues across the disciplines involved in cystic fibrosis care.
Educational and observational programme
This programme is strictly educational and observational. Visiting participants will attend lectures, professional discussions and observational visits to clinical and research facilities. They will not practise medicine, provide patient care or individual medical advice, diagnose or treat patients, prescribe, perform clinical procedures, or make decisions about patient care.
Any observation involving patients will be subject to Hadassah’s approval and applicable consent, confidentiality and hospital-access requirements. Responsibility for patient care remains with the treating clinical team.
Why Hadassah?
Hadassah brings together specialised care, multidisciplinary practice and applied research in one academic medical centre.

Integrated CF care
Learn alongside teams caring for children and adults with CF across pulmonology, nursing, physiotherapy, nutrition, pharmacy, psychology and gastroenterology.
Research applied to practice
Hadassah connects clinical care with international research, clinical trials and specialised diagnostics.
A bridge with Latin America
Prof. Malena Cohen-Cymberknoh has spent more than a decade training professionals and supporting the development of CF services across Latin America.
